Jenna has a passion for life, the outdoors, education and people. She is a Stott Pilates Instructor Trainer in Mat, Reformer, Cadillac, Chair and Barrels; along with being an Instructor Trainer for Total Barre, Zenga Mindful Movement, and CORE Athletic Conditioning and Performance Training.. Additional credentials include being 500 hour Yoga Teacher Trained, AntiGravity Fitness Certified Instructor, AFAA Certified, Bachelor of Fine Arts in dance from the University of Utah, Masters in Education from the University of Utah, Secondary teaching license, Les Mills group exercise instructor, and a certified Personal Trainer from National Association of Sports Medicine.


Along with teaching fitness, Jenna has also taught snowboarding, skiing, recreational therapy, and dance. She has taught dance, drama, and Pilates in New Zealand and was a Rafting and Hiking guide in Alaska.  Jenna has competed and placed in IRONMAN triathlons, snowboarding and dance competitions. She loves seeing how her students’ lives improve as they work towards fitness goals, injury rehabilitation or an improved quality of life. Her clients range from: professional athletes, grandparents, firefighters, endurance athletes, professional strongmen, stay at home moms, children and everyone in between. Jenna’s life work however is her 3 children, whom help remind her through their examples how to live life in the present with an awe for the amazing world.


Erin has always been involved in movement…  starting at age the age of 3 with dance. She trained in all forms of dance throughout the years. At age 14 she joined the Ballet Hawaii Company, danced with them 2 years performing in many productions, one of them being “The Nutcracker”. Along with dancing through her high school years, she also ran track and field and went to the state championships for the high jump.

 Erin become a Group Fitness Instructor in 2003 teaching Les Mills BodyCombat and BodyPump. She developed such a passion for teaching and educating herself in the field that she received her Pilates certification through Stott that same year. Erin became the Group Fitness Manager for Xcel Fitness in 2005 and ran the program with her heart and soul until 2015. While working as the GFM during those years, she trained to become a US Master Trainer for the Mixed Martial Arts program, BodyCombat in 2006. She had the grand opportunity to travel to New Zealand, and around the western US to train with many of the program directors in the Les Mills programs. It was one of her greatest experiences in her career. She is trained and certified in 7 Les Mills programs, Pilates, Barre and has taught alongside some of the biggest names in Muay Thai boxing.

 Erin loves being a wife and mother to her 2 sons and 3 step- daughters. She feels this is her most important job at this moment in time. She continuously researches and challenges herself to become more aware in her own life, and to bring balance and self love into her family. She loves helping and inspiring others; whether it’s by being present for her children, teaching a fitness class or volunteering in the community.

 Her passion and zest for life are shown in each class she instructs... as she feels that this is her calling in life!

Whitney Russell was born in Sarasota, FL and began her dance training at the Sarasota Ballet School, adjudicated by the Royal Academy of Dance in London. She continued her training after moving to North Carolina as an adolescent and following surgery, she rejoined her technical training at the collegiate level. Whitney’s history with dance-related injuries inspired her to incorporate her two degrees together to better serve the future dance community as a Dance Specialized Physical Therapist. Throughout her studies, she worked for 4 years (2009-2013) at the fitness department as a ACE Group Fitness Instructor and their Outreach Marketing Coordinator. Whitney introduced Pilates Mat classes and Barre classes to the University fitness department in addition to teaching Yoga.  Her internship at North Carolina Dance Theatre (now Charlotte Ballet) for two years (2009-2011) transitioned into a final summer internship with Greg Ott Physical Therapy under the scopes of Dance Specialist Angie Koonin AT, PT and Shawn Minnick, PT, SCS where she accumulated 400 hours of hands-on observational hours and wrote a specialized dance training manual for the clinic (Summer 2013). A final individual research project (Fall 2013) with the head of the Kinesiology Department, Dr. Scott Gordon, furthered her fascination into Dance Medicine, producing a final project: Exploration and Prevention of Dance-Related Injuries: A Manifesto into the Field of Dance Kinesiology. Graduating in Fall 2013 with a Bachelor of Arts in Dance and a Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science along with minors in Interdisciplinary Health Studies and Women’s Studies, Whitney became certified with the American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM) as a Health Fitness Specialist and recently became Exercise is Medicine Type 2® certified. Whitney now lives in Cottonwood Heights, has just launched her personal training business, Fit2Evolve, in February 2015 and is launching the Group Fitness department at Dialed In Fitness. Fit2Evolve’s motto depicting “only change is constant” emphasizes a sense of personal responsibility to remain conscious and evolve each day to become the best paradigm of your self.


Marci is stott certified in Mat and Reformer pilates. She is also certified in Core Athletic Training through stott pilates. She grew up in Salt Lake City Utah with a passion for exercise as a competitive swimmer, diver, soccer player and runner. After having children she gained a greater love for running and has completed 55 marathons! She started taking pilates for rehab due to a hamstring tear and IT band injury that prevented her from running at all. She quickly fell in love with all of the benefits that pilates has to offer. Building strength in the core, helping with muscular imbalances and working stabilizer muscles to prevent injuries. It also helped her continue her love of running marathons and increased her athletic ability. She absolutely loves to motivate people whether it be in sports or life. She believes that there is nothing more empowering when someone breaks the barrier of something they never thought possible.


Kacie Ballard is a Utah native and spent much of her youth participating in school sports and outdoor activities, including cheerleading, running, hiking, snow-boarding, swimming, and rock climbing. Her interest in yoga began 5 years ago, initially with the desire to regain the flexibility she had as a cheerleader. Soon it became a way to improve her mental and spiritual well-being along with attaining physical strength. Kacie is a certified yoga 500RYT with Yoga Alliance and an AntiGravity certified instructor. She has been through numerous trainings and will continue to take any training that sparks her interest. She loves learning and gaining new perspectives. Her goals in teaching are to make yoga accessible for those who are new to yoga and challenging to those who are more experienced in yoga. She loves how AntiGravity Fitness and yoga compliment each other, the hammock makes moves more accessible to everyone not just the flexible people. She also specializes in core strength training and arm balancing moves. When not teaching yoga or balancing in a precarious pose, Kacie loves spending time with her family of two young children, Mattie and Jett, and her fire-fighter husband Matt.


Traci graduated from Utah State in 2001 with a B.A. where her passion for the outdoors began. Traci was certified in Pilates in 2005 through Basi Pilates and worked and trained directly under Rael Isacowatz. She is certified as a pre/post natal Master Teacher from The Center of Women's Fitness. She is also a member of the faculty at The Center of Women's Fitness where she trains and certifies instructors to teach pre/post natal Pilates for Southern California & New York area. Traci comes from an athletic background and has always been active and interested in health including running, marathon training, gymnastics, yoga, & anything that keeps her and her clients healthy and moving. She believes in Pilates for the pre/post natal body & believes it can make a difference in the entire pregnancy and birthing process. In 2014 she expanded her repertoire and completed her certification and currently teaches Anti-Gravity fitness as well.

Traci Dimond also has a passion for global retreats and events. She currently owns her own business Dimond Consulting which has been responsible for putting on large scale global events and marketing strategies for companies such as GoPro, Skullcandy, Lytro and many other action sports based companies.  Traci is thrilled to combine her love and experience with global events and her love for Pilates & Yoga with Awaken Retreats.


Chantell graduated college with her B.S. in Paralegal Studies in 2005. Shortly after graduating, she started her own company and embarked on an entirely new education as a small business owner. To keep up with her demanding work load, she quickly realized that maintaining a balanced life through exercise and nutrition was crucial for herself and business. Growing up with a passion and affinity for physical movement through competitive gymnastics, skiing and softball, staying active has always been second nature! In 2005 she discovered Pilates while rehabbing a running injury and instantly fell in love with its practice. Pilates enabled her to heal and stay injury free while training and competing in individual races, team relay races and a half-ironman triathlon. Her passion for Pilates later became her profession when she sold her company and certified through Stott Pilates to begin teaching others. Chantell is a 200 Hour Registered Yoga Teacher is very passionate about Yoga and it’s place in her life both on and off the mat. She enjoys the freedom of expression, peace, balance and fun that comes from practicing and teaching yoga. She is also a certified CORE Athletic & Conditioning Trainer. Helping people discover and reach their full potential through mindful movement is fulfilling and she feels honored to be included in others’ journeys. Currently, she teaches at Xcel Fitness in Salt Lake City, Utah. She is a wife and a mother to two wonderful, active boys. She and her family share a passion for the ‘Great Outdoors’ and enjoy camping, hiking, motorcycling, skiing and playing in the dirt together!


Emily is the co-owner and creator of the new hardcore fun fitness class HIGH FITNESS. 

Emily was born and raised in Bountiful UT in a very active lifestyle home.  She spent the first 18 years of her life keeping active through dance, dance, and more dance.  Emily’s passion for fitness came about when she headed off to college and joined her first gym. She immediately fell in love with group fitness and knew she needed to be a part of it. Working full time as a Fitness Director Emily received several fitness certifications such as BOSU, TRX, Bootcamp, Step, Bender Ball, Zumba 1 & 2 and Zumbatomic, LesMills BodyAttack and BodyJam fitness programs. Emily’s passion for dance and fitness came together through her diverse fitness classes and has expanded from there.  Emily believes that exercise and getting fit should not only make you physically stronger but mentally and emotionally stronger as well. Because of this belief and passion Emily teamed up with her Canadian friend, Amber Zenith, to bring to life a new Fitness class that they felt was missing in the industry. They created HIGH Fitness and gained an instant following and decided to share it with the masses. 

HIGH Fitness is a hardcore fun fitness class that incorporates interval training with music you love and intense easy to follow choreography. It combines FUN (pop songs of old and new that everyone knows and loves) with INTENSITY (interval, plyometrics and cardio) with CONSISTENCY (each song has specific simple moves taught the same by all instructors). Together they make a recipe for success, repeat participation and results! HIGH Fitness produces a high caloric burn and full body toning throug


Liz first discovered yoga in 1998 while living in LA and felt an instant connection.  Her love for moving on her mat grew over the years as her practice led to a profoundly deeper sense of balance and well-being in her life.  Coming from a background in teaching dance and motivated by the desire to share her passion with others, Liz became a Yoga Alliance certified RYT 200 Ashtanga vinyasa teacher in 2009.  As a teacher, she is constantly challenging herself to grow, training with inspiring instructors and furthering her study of yoga philosophy.  Over the years she has acquired countless hours of teaching, almost 1000 hours of training and just recently became an RYT 500 with the Yoga Alliance.  Her classes are designed to help her students move more intuitively on their mat so that they are better able to move intuitively through life, feeling more joy, balance and peace. When she’s not on her mat, her very favorite thing to do is spend time with her husband and son
